2001 Impala P0306 code

I have a 2001 Impala P0306 code. " Misfire Cyl #6." I have changed spark plug and cleared. Nope. Replaced plug wires and cleared. Code still comes back. Run double dose of injector cleaner thru. What's next?? Coil tower?

Re: 2001 Impala P0306 code

i had a tech swap coil packs between cylinders on my car to check to see if it was bad... mine ended up being a intake gasket problem... the car stumbled at idle... don't swap the packs on my advice i was only telling you what the guy did on my car... good luck

Re: 2001 Impala P0306 code

before swapping coil packs, take wire off #6 at coil, and it's companion, and see if the coil terminals are corroded. if so, replace coil. if not then swap coil pack. also, you could use some throttle body cleaner, have engine running and spray some sround the intake, if stumbles, there is either a vacuum leak there, or a wiring problem with the injector on that cylinder. let us know what you find.

also check to make sure its not a bad wire (plug wire) to #6, I just had that on my acura
