crankcase breather tube

I have a 1993 F250, 5.8L with E4OD. The problem is that my airbox and airfilter keep getting saturated with oil from the crankcase breather tube. The small breather filter is in place but is saturated as well. Any suggestions?

Re: crankcase breather tube

Check for a plugged tube or hose don't just change filters.

Re: crankcase breather tube

If the PCV system is plugged up it will cause blow by vapors to collect in the breather filter. Make sure the PCV valve has full manifold vacuum to it at idle.
