Climate Control Lights

Hi. I just inheritated a '99 Regal LS from my mother-in-law, who can no longer drive. It seems to be just about fully loaded, with only 40k miles. Reading through different forums I've found, it seeks like electrical problems seems to be fairly common on these cars, so I'll share mine:

The car has what I'm assuming is an automatic temperature control for the HVAC system. It had a fluorscent display, which no longer works, so you have no idea what temp the system is set for, or where the air is being directed. All the HAVC controls work, there is just no display. Any idea on how to repair this?

Re: Climate Control Lights

Welcome to AF.

There is a DIY fix that has been out for quite a few years now for the automatic climate control (ComforTemp) display fading or disappearing. See link below.
