Hello my fellow drivers, my Aurora has 187,560 miles still running, then they sad German and Japanese cars are better, iceslolan I get all my parts from junk yards and Ebay. Really, no over priced parts from a dealer. Example a air compressor for the air conditioning. Shipped complete from a Ebay seller $ 200.00 and all the parts, compressor is rebuilt, two years later still running. The only way I am giving up my Aurora is when they pry my dead cold hands from the wheel. GM is actually thinking of bring back Olds in a limited edition two or three car line as diesel electric models. In any case: popcorn: Has any one changed the saddle in the driver door. This is the electronic saddle that controls the sat seats, power locks, memory to seats and mirror, Need a few pointers on how to change the saddle. The other option go to an Auto Electric shop, and re-wire the broken wires in the booth. The booth sits between the driver’s door and the left side dash panel. Thanks: grinno: Al Galaviz (510) 219-5011 or [email protected]

Re: Pain the Side Repair Job
i know this is an old post but i just had to do this on my 97 and yea its a pain in the rear man. you end up cutting your new and old harnessed about a foot into where the wires run into the car and splicing every wire... GM and their electrical issues, but what ya gonna do? Die hard GM fans understand!
