A couple problems

I own a 2003 chevy Silverado 1500, Just lately my speedometer has been messing up , it will be working fine for about 15 minutes then it just starts sticking when i slow down and speed up. A friend told me that it was my my speedometer cable and his dad then told me that there is no speedometer cable its all electronic. So my friend showed me where it was located and I just wiggled some of the wires to see if it would help anything than I go to take it for a test drive and it won't start. I just put a brand new battery in my truck the week before. Anyone know what it could be as to why my truck won't start and how to fix my speedometer?

Re: A couple problems

The stepper motors in the speedos suck....depending on your year and model, chevy has released a TSB about them, and are fixing them for free. Call you dealer with your VIN see if its included.
