Turn Signal issue 99 Dodge Caravan
Hi - my left turn signal started acting up a month or so ago. Sometimes worked - sometimes not. My mechanic took a look and said I needed to replace the switch. Eventually the left signal went all together. Nothing on the dash - nothing outside the van. Turns out my brother has a 98 Voyager he is selling so I took off his switch and "switched" them. In his Voyager my switch worked perfect. When I put his in mine - same problem - no left signal? I checked the fuses and there is no issue there. Any ideas?

Re: Turn Signal issue 99 Dodge Caravan
Just an update - and kind of weird that it happened the day after posting. This morning (a very cold morning) my left signal worked for a few seconds? At least it showed up in my dash - I cannot say with certainty that it worked outside the vehicle as I was on my way to work. I still use the signal when driving as I don't want to get out of the habit - and also just in case it does work. Since then it will not come on.

Re: Turn Signal issue 99 Dodge Caravan
You may try this even though it's not a permanent fix.
1. Turn the hazard signal or turn the High Beam 2. Turn left signal 3. Turn off the #1 It works for me every time I have a left turn signal problem. |

Re: Turn Signal issue 99 Dodge Caravan
You know I forgot to mention that in my original post - someohow - like you I figured that trick out too. In the beginning it worked - then that eventually stopped. I got excited when I read your post and thought "oh yeah" I can do that now that I switched with my brother - but it didn't work? Oddly enough - this morning - below freezing - the signal worked again for a few seconds the first time I tried it. I left it on at while waiting to turn and it just went out?
