Making a BJ40 frame model

Hi all modelers.

I´m planning on making a Toyota Land Cruiser frame from cardboard etc. and I need to know how can I calculate the...umm.. what it is in english.. you know 1:1, 1:24, 1:16 etc from these prints. If I print it into paper.. and it will be like... exsample 25cm long. What is the "size" (1:24 or 1:16 etc) How can I calculate it.

I´m going to post the progress in WIP forum.

Thanks

The scale is the word you are looking for.
Devide the original stats by 24 or 16
Example: 3680/24= 153.3 mm
The easiest way of printing a scale graphic I can think of:
1.Crop the pic so that the two ends of the 3680 part is on the edge of the pic. like this:

2. Use photoshop to resize and select 'print' under 'what will this image be used for?'
3. enter 15.33333 in the length area
4. print it out and you should have a good template.
5. remember to 'save as' so that you stilll have the original stats.
HTH
