got it runing

got off work went an got the kit. an me any my boy got it back togather an runing, but we broke the L shaped water pipe from the water pump to the lim. so couldnt let it run long. but the min we did there was valve tick so we open the covers an took them off checked them all seamed good started it let it run bout 1.5 min donno gots me worried.
u guys think it will go away in time? any thing i should check. friday im going to get that part. so i can put water in it an take it for a drive.

Make sure the oil is not contaminated.

yea i put new oil in an plan to run the car like 30 min than change it out

ok that elbow you broke probably broke leaving the tips and o ring still in lim, make sure you fish these out, and i hate to tell you this but you might have to thake the lim back off to put a new one in i dont know i just fabricated one out of steel but i had to take mine off. and the ticking wont go away you just have to adjust your rockers, did you replace your lifters? they may have collapsed. this will couse it to tick too.

ok 250 miles on car can't kick the #1 cylender misfire or the tick! the tick is comeing around the #1 cyl donno thow hard to pin point.
an i didnt know you could adjust the rockers? an yea i reused every thing from the valve train! so u guys think i mest up the lifters buy just tourqing the rockers down? think i did the rockers at 18ft!
an a collapsed lifter would cause a misfire code to come up rite?
i hope a lifter is not collapsed have to take every thing back apart

ok i just went out an tinkerd with it some. an number one seams to be dead i pulled the wire off an nothing changed. so im thinking its a bad injector mybe?

See if you can feel the injector ticking or pulsing. Is the wire and the plug good, got spark to that cylinder?

yes there is good spark changed the spark plug an wire on that cyclender!! checked the wire to the injector? just buy looking at it.
so you say i can feel the injector plusing? havent tried that.
what are the ways to see if it's bad? other than puting it on a nother cyclender an see if the problem fallows.

Correct, you can put a long screwdriver on the injector and feel/listen to it clicking.

well its geting gas an spark i changeg the injectors around same code #1 cyl. did leak down test in #1 cyl it's at only 25psi an #5 at 75psi. did a rad leak down test its got a slow slow leak. so i donno im realy buming i took over pay ment on the car from my step dad thinking it was a quick head gasket. gess im out. still o like $2400 on the car
