Hesitation issues after checkup

hey guys..i reallllly need help!

i have a 2003 Mazda 6. 3.0 V6. It has around 95xxx miles. Car had a 'catalyst below threshold' code or something of that sort. But, the car was running FINE. smooth.

Today, i decided i would check on my front 3 spark plugs since they are fairly easy to get to. So, i removed the cover, disconnected the plugs for the direct ignition coils, unbolted them, and pulled up with some force and removed the coil packs. Then I removed the spark plugs from the engine. They looked ok.

So I put everything back together and the car started running like crap. Its hesitating and jerking now.

what is it???? can it be that the coil pack is not correctly secured to the spark plug??? when I pulled it out, and fit the plug in the coil pack connector, it was kind of loose. Butm thats how all three were......this is realllllllly aggrivating.

PLEASE HELP!!! THANKS.
