DIC and Instrument panel problem

My wife's 99 GTP has lost it's lights in the DIC and Instrument cluster. First the lights went out and then it burnt out a guage cluster. It was taken to the local dealer and they proceeded to burn out another guage cluster. They looked for a short and found nothing. Needless to say, after $1000 we are not impressed. All other electrical seams to be working fine. Anybody got any ideas of what to look for?

Jack

Too Much Voltage. Did you check battery voltage with the engine running? I know this sounds wierd, but I've seen alternator diodes go out causing a overcharge condition..... Just a thought
