97 blower motor

How does one access the blower motor in a 97 Grand Am SE? I've found many How-to's for 99+, but when removing the passenger side kick plate in my car yesterday, all I could see was the ECU.

Re: 97 blower motor

It is accessed from under the hood, some are a real pain.
Here is a link to the proceedures.

If yours needs cut take your time, make sure you seal it up well when reassembling or you'll get fumes from under the hood making you sleepy and water could leak into the blower ruining it.

hope that helps.
