|
no power until check eng.lite comes on
i bought a 95 cavalier and have to get it smogged ,we presure washed under the hood and now it runs rough and has no power until the check eng.lite comes on then it has power. before we washed it the eng.lite wood come on after it warmed up and it wood pop a couple times before it had power,,, can anyone help

You're going to have to dry everything out. Check for water at the spark plug holes, electrical connectors, intake, etc. And make sure you didn't blow a vaccuum line off or an electrical connector apart. If you have an air compressor use a blow gun to blow the standing water off of everything.
Oh and it's 'would', man. Not wood. lol |
