Need Help

Hi i have a 1971 Chevelle with a 396 and every time i drive it when i go to start it again it will not start it has no crank nothing after it seems to cool down it starts right up but this after about a hour?

First place to look is the connections between the battery and solenoid. This is known as the "heat sink start" problem. Some install a Ford starter relay in between to help, but it's a patch. Your starter is probably bad if the cables are all good. There are heat shields available from most resto houses, and it helps.
