RPMs raise as I drive.
Yeah. I have a 98 Mits Galant with a K & N intake and an maxiflow exhaust system on it. I have noticed as I drive on a trip or something over a half hour or so, I set the cruise at a constant speed and the RPMs will raise 1-200 depending on how far I go. I have heard that it could be the tach sensor or even a problem with the clutch slipping. But i do not think it is the clutch slipping becasue that would be someting I could notice. Any ideas?

Re: RPMs raise as I drive.
sounds more like a gauge issue
clutch slipping is much more prominant than that
