New Headlights Not Working On '99 Alero

I got into a car accident a couple months ago. I could finally afford to purchase replacement headlamps for my 1999 Alero, and when I installed them I realized the power connector from the car and the headlights did not match up. My car has a connector with two wires in it, and my lights have a connector with 4 wires in it.

I then went to my local auto wrecking yard and pulled off a couple connectors off of some other aleros to match my headlights (since I can't refund my headlights). When I hook them up, the lamps aren't working. How exactly do I connect the wires from my car to the new connectors, and if I have them wired correctly already, what can I do to make my lights work? I know the bulbs are good because I hooked the whole headlight up to a battery and it turned on just fine, and I have checked the fuses that I know of (inside my door, under my hood on driver side) and they don't seem to be blown... Please help me if you know what's wrong.

Re: New Headlights Not Working On '99 Alero

Sounds like you have the headlamps hooked up wrong.
You might have hooked it to the parking lamp wires which is two.
Check this wire diagram for your headlamps.

and welcome to AF.
