fuel pump power again!
95 rodeo....ok, only 9.5 volts at fuel pump with a new battery and a new fuel pump, fuel filter..........i have 12 volts at fuse, but only 9.5 at pump???? i dont know what to do next!!! any help would be great! Thanks for your time.

your fuel pump relay may only be letting 9.5 volts through due to years of snapping closed and open (cauing scored contacts)! this can especially happen when the brushes in the old fuel pump wear and need more amps to run the pump! pull the relay out, jumper the terminals and then see what the voltage is! mike

i have swapped all the relays checking them with the horn, im not sure how to jumper the relay??? is the relay b4 the fuse, because it read 12volts at the fuse....

make it easy on yourself.
just swap the relay with another in the box that is the same. if all works, relay is your problem. if that doesn't fix things, then keep checking. //bc
