What Is The Loudest Muffler Out There?

i need the loudest muffler there is. one that doesn't fade out when at high rpms and at low rpms is really loud.

heh?

probably no muffler at all. hell, just take your whole exhaust system off, including the headers. youre doing some weight reduction and making your car damn loud. id probably invest in some ear plugs though. if your car is that loud youd have to take your stereo out so thats even more wieght gone.

just buy one of those dc sport drag headers................muffler and headers all in one. get rid of the stereo you won't need it. and its alot of weight reducion and the noise will be from under the car.

Dude don't tell people to take off their headers. You will be bending valve like crazy you have to have at least 6 inches of pipe after the exhaust ports otherwise you are going to be bending valves.

the dynomax ultraflo muffler is the loudest guaranteed. its pretty much just a box of steel. nothing inside. just looks like a muffler. bolt it to any pipe and get earplugs!!!

All I have on my crx is a cat and about a 2 foot 3 inch pipe dumping right under the car. It is never quiet, really loud during engine braking. Also I have a B16 so 8000 rpm sounds very nice. And yeah dump the radio I can hardly even hear mine with idle.

Translation - I want people to look at me. I don't care if the loss of back pressure causes my car to be a pig to drive around town.

Drill a hole/s in your muffler if you want the sound though.

I got 2 questions, both of them are not sarcastic.

-Why do you want the loudest exasut possible?

- Why, and how, does a valve bend when the header is removed?
