I just changed my fuel pressure regulator, however now my car is has black smoke coming from the exhaust. I don't have the gas smell anymore since its not flooding, however i have black smoke coming out. I still have to change my spark plugs since they are burnt. can anyone give any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks greatly,

Re: Black Smoke from Exhaust
Black smoke is usually gas smoke, as in running rich.

Re: Black Smoke from Exhaust
Did you go to a stock or aftermarket regulator? You're definitley running too rich, which is causing the black smoke.
