98 GA SE died while driving and now won't start

My car was driving normal, but the other day I came home and was driving up (about a 15 degree incline) my street and suddenly my car just died- no sputtering, jerking, coughing, just like I had turned the key off. All my warning lights came on except the check engine, my seatbelt light was flashing like I had it off (seatbelt was on), my stereo stayed on, and my automatic door locks went nuts, locking and unlocking real fast. Now the car will crank, but will not turn over. Replaced the fuel filter. Can hear the fuel pump power up and whine and shut off, so all's ok there. My lights and everything still work fine, just the darn thing won't turn over completely. There's spark and fuel, so what is the problem? Anyone have this problem or any ideas? It's a 1998 Grand Am SE V6 3.1L....

Make sure the injectors are firing.

If they're not, have the codes checked.
