97 mitsu eclipse gst P1105
had my mitsubishi for bout a year and time to get it inspected for emmisions and a trouble code was found for P1105... this is a manufactures code for a fuel pressure solinoid malfunction... i have searched and have no clue where the fuel pressure solinoid is... any help greatly appreciated

It's that little black piece in the corner of the driver's side firewall. It has a few vacuum lines going to it. I'm not sure how to explain it. If you still can't find it, let me know and Ill take a pic of mine. I've heard of people bypassing it completely, but afterwards, they say it takes a couple more cranks to start it up in the morning. I used to have one of those hoses on my intake off, and it would trip my CEL for that code. Once I plugged it back up and cleared the code, I haven't had it since.
