95 Honda Civic Missing and has a strong gas smell

Does anyone know what would cause a strong smell of gas and it is coming out the tail pipe. Car is missing on 2 cylinders.

Ummmm... because it's missing on 2 cylinders. If the fuel & air aren't being ignited in 2 cylinders, that fuel & air get pushed out the exhaust valves and all the way put the tail pipe.
