Body lift for 2nd gen automatic?

I have been looking online for a body lift for my 91 4x4 but all the body lifts I see are for manual trannys only? What is the big difference, and does anyone make a 3" body lift for an auto????

Re: Body lift for 2nd gen automatic?

No one makes a BL for auto equipped vehicles because of issues with the shifter linkage, they don't want to deal with possible liability issues.

3" kits are not as popular because the installation is more involved, and they just don't look as good.

But you're not out of luck, Roger Brown makes custom lifts for your Toy, including a bracket to adjust the linkage. Check out 4crawler.com.
