2002 2500HD Silverado LT

I am considering purchasing a 2002 2500HD Silverado LT. It has the 6.0L gas engine, crew cab and is 4WD.

I was wondering if I could get any feedback on this truck? I am interested in the fuel mileage and reliability and would like to know what rearend gears would most likely be in this truck.

Are there any things that can be done to improve mileage and performance on the truck?

Thanks for any input.

Re: 2002 2500HD Silverado LT

I believe they come standard with the 4:10 gears.
6.0L are good engines. I think most people would agree that these truck are pretty reliable. You can look through the post to get an idea of any common problems the 2500HD has, But I do not know of any serious issues with the truck
