Belt Noise
Have a '99 GC Sport w/ 3.8L engine and 97K miles. Does anyone know what the cause of that belt noise is? By belt noise I mean that high pitched metal type sounding noise that seems all Caravans have. My friend told me it was the tensioner so I replaced it and it's still there. Anyone have any clue what's causing it?
Thanks

Re: Belt Noise
Hi, Try this. Make sure the blower fan is not on when you check for the noise, The 96 and 97's had this noise(uncureable) blower motor noise at espessialy the first 2 speeds....See Ya, Clay,,,,

Re: Belt Noise
Now that you guys mention it....sounds like one or the other depending on what your doing at the time. But it happens mainly when idling or stopped for a light and gets worse during the summer and the a/c is on.
