Re: Headlight woes :-o
Check the battery fusible link. If its blown none of that will work unless the switch is on. There could also be other fuses blown.
Have you done any wiring of anything lately?

Re: Headlight woes :-o
The battery fusible link looks like a large fuse. Its the middle one all the way to the left when facing the car.
Another thing to check is the IOD plug in. Its a yellowish green looking thing directly next to the battery fusible link. Without it (or if its loose) alot of shit wont work. If none of that works you need to go back to the fuse box and make sure no wires got knocked loose.

Re: Headlight woes :-o
the same thing happened to me and it turned out to be the headlight switch.... have you took it out and tested each terminal inside of it... that is what i did and thats the way i was able to determine that was it.... when you put the key in do your high beam still come on along with your turn signals and hazards??? if so i am most certain that is your problem, the headlight switch on the steering column

Re: Headlight woes :-o
No, I have already replaced the switch, i saw your thread and went ahead and replaced mine (the letters were faded anyway). but no high beams with the key either. jus hazards and turns, I know the bulbs can get power because the turns work, so it must be something in the parking lights circit.
and thanks Stealthee, I'll look into those tom after work, man i hate wintertime with the shortened daylight hours, ugh.

Re: Headlight woes :-o
just a suggestion...
but when i installed my alarm, i had to take out the dimmer switch (forgot the fancy name for it) and had to unplug it. just grab a flat head and pop it out and make sure the harnesses are connected right. probably not the problem.. BUT i know my lights (headlights, interior, and highbeams) wouldn't work without that being plugged in right.
