Anyone remember the XJS?
It seems wrong that we are all forgetting about what may have been more of the illegitimate child of Jaguar lineage. But the XJS's were pretty quick, rode well, and looked very nice even if they were not in the XKE and D-type traditions of flowing beautiful lines. Only ending their production run in 1995-96 though, it seems a shame that this great Jag of a 20 year production run has been forgotten so soon.

Yeah, I really like that body kit. I think it's from Erebuni Corp. It almost makes the whole thing seem more substantial. I tried to get my friend to get it put on his '85 XJS after someone backed into his front bumper in a parking lot. He was going to have to pay app. $1000 to get the bumper fixed anyway, the kit is only $1077, I think.

Unfortunately, he didn't. I've got a standing offer to buy it, but his dad is pretty attached. I'm hoping when he goes to college he'll need the money. In which case, do you know where to find the official Jaguar Sport panels?

We love our 1993 Red XJS.
XJS should have its own category here.

Re: Anyone remember the XJS?
I agree the XJ-S should have it's own forum here.I have a '78 with low miles and is pretty much stock. This is an ongoing project but well worth it.

The XJS is a great car, after you
pull the engine and trans and put in a TPI Corvette engine and 700-R4 overdrive tranny. Now what to do with that over designed V-12, this is whats sitting in my den.
