Fast Idle

Have a 97 concorde 3.5 it started idleing fast about 2200-2500 rpm, changed idle control motor, still fast, someone told to have the computer reset or flashed at a dealer, any help?

May be sucking air around the idle Air control (Make sure the seal is intact) or around the intake etc. Pick up a can of Carb cleaner and spray it all around the edges of both while idling, you'll notice a change in the idle if the cleaner finds its way in.

Vaccum leak usually around the intake or plemum
