Smile Purchasing a second hand Porsche

First off, I'm new to this forum and I would like to say "Hi" to everyone.

Now for my question, I now find myself in need of another car and think that a Porsche would make a nice toy (I might even look forward to going to work)!

I need to know what sort of things to look for when test driving a car. As well I wish to know what sort of mileage is acceptable for a '88 Carrera 4.

I intend to use this car as my everyday transport.

If there is anyone from Europe or in particular Switzerland who would be prepared to offer advise, I would very much appreciate it.

Thank you for your time!

Regards,

Fooesboy

Hi
I'm not good with porsches, but i do know one thing: DO NOT BUY A BOXSTER... those cars have bad reviews in the used car market. I'm from the states and the porsche people buy second hand is a late 80s to early 90s porsche 911 turbo. 3 of my 5 uncles bought a porsche turbo between those years and they have had no problems with them.
