question about camshaft position sensor

Where exactly is the camshaft position sensor on a 3.8 engine? Is there a special way needed to replace it? Thanks for any advice.

Thank you. Auto Zone shows a location photo but I don't see any how-to. The location photo shows the sensor to be what looks like behind the alternator or maybe below the power steering, but even with a mirror and flashlight I can't see it. Do I need to remove the alternator or another part?
