Fuel Filter Stud

I have a 2001 olds silhouette. Replacing the fuel filter, the stud/nut combo broke off. Any suggestion on replacing this? I thought it was just a bolt, and I could drill it out, but it appears to be a stud. I wire tied the fuel filter in place. It moves a tiny but, but will this be ok?

Thanks

Jamie

Re: Fuel Filter Stud

Hi.I would just use some zip ties to hold the filter in place. It should be ok.Or you could drill a hole thru the floor and use a bolt and nut, witch I think would be a pain in the butt!!Anyway, just go with the zip ties. I am a former Silhouette owner.Loved the van but it had too many problems for me to deal with.Have a good day!! Diesel 1962.....................
