I have a 1970 98 with the 455 and single exhaust. I have access to a '68 dual hump crossmember from a 98. Will that fit my 1970 so I can install duals? I know I need a different drivers side exhaust manifold for that and know where to get that also, but if anyone knows if this swap would work, it would be very helpful. Thanks,

Re: crossmember

Welcome to AF. Not positive, but lay it up in there and see if fits, one easy way, no?

Re: crossmember

Thank you Max for the reply. I assumed it had a single hump crossmember as I just got the car and am not familiar with those big land yachts and it had only one tube sticking out the back. But when I went under it today after work, it came with a dual hump already. Gotta love the way they set them up back then.
