Re: butt sag of course
Shocks do nothing for lift, its the springs.

Re: butt sag of course
My explorer had that problem....that was 1 on a LONG list of many problems.
There are aftermarket parts/kits that are helped with that specific problem. Here's a link to the site of the catalog for the parts: http://www.performanceproducts4truck...es.aspx?cid=19 |

Re: butt sag of course
If you wan't to fix your saggy butt, get better than stock ride and handling, and a small lift, all at once, check out the Old Man Emu suspensions. They really can't be beat.

Again, its the spring. They do sell spacers to put on top of the spring, to help even things out.

Re: butt sag of course
Most 4Runners have the droopy butt issue.
There is an easy fix, have an alignment shop drop the ride height on the front torsion adjustment, then have it ALIGNED after this adjustment as it will change the geometry of the alignment. You can attempt this yourself but it will still NEED to be aligned. Start by soaking the adjustment threads with WD40 days in advance of the work. If it has been in a salt environment (salted roads or coastal) there is a VERY good chance the bolt will shear! The torsion adjustment arm will then tear a hole in the floorboard, danger Will Robinson, danger!![]() What else needs to be aligned? You're right! The head lights!!!!
