blazer lose power
I own a 1997 s-10 Blazer. The vehicle has lots of power and runs great. However, when I drive up longer inclines the engine will gradually loose power and stall. The check engine light flashes but shows no codes. I can start it again without trouble but it will drive like its running on 2 cylinders until the road flattens out and then it runs fine.
I have changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, ignition switch, and coil. PLEASE HELP!!!! Thankyou Pete |

Re: blazer lose power
Check that fuel pressure on the road running when it does it.
If the light is flashing you have a engine miss. How good or what kind of spark plugs does it have in it? Has the computer been checked on a good engine capable scanner. It should have a code in history or memory somewhere if the light has been on or flashing? MT

Re: blazer lose power
checked fuel presure while driving and it was down, so i replaced the fuel pump.
Sometimes the check engine light flashes and it doesnt stall under the same conditions. Plugs should be replaced soon Im sure |
