Welcome to AF.
What year and engine and mileage?

How is the tune up end?
Any engine miss?
Any check engine lights?
The more info you give us the more we can help.

Have you checked fuel filter and fuel pressure?

Re: bogging out

Check the fuel pressure, sounds like a bad fuel pump. :-(

93 gmc jimmy with the 4.3 vortec motor. i towed it home today. now will not start. I have a good spark to the destributer but alot weaker to the end of the wires. when i try starting you can smell a lil bit of fuel. i have good fuel preesure to the spyder injecter. oh yeah 223,000 miles on it.

Re: bogging out

How did you measure the spark intensity? Visually? Maybe a cap/rotor/wire problem, but in my experience, usually that won't prevent firing like weak fuel pressure will. The spider won't even activate with low pressure. I've replaced my pump twice in the last 5 years when the truck was acting as you described.

What is your pressure reading?
