If someone does their own Maintenace on a 2004 CR-V EX, how do you reset the "Maint Req'd" Warning light? I followed the instructions in the owner's manual, but to no avail

Re: Maintenance Req'd Warning Light
If the garage or dealer has reset the light for you, they do it just as in the owners manual. I watched the advisor do it and the next time I did it myself and it worked fine. If it doesn't reset, you may have another problem

Re: Maintenance Req'd Warning Light
you dont need to reset trip a or b.......all you need to do is press and hold the reset button and turn the key on, then wait for the light to go out (you might here a click from the dash) once the light goes out keep holding the button and turn the key off.
thats it your done.
