98 Cirrus Overheating
I have 98 cirus that keeps overheating. I have chnaged the thermostat, radioator cap, checked all the hoses and water pump for leaks and still.
It also sends water\coolent back to the resovior tank. Need some suggestions. What else should i check? what sensors could cost overheating ad where are they located? thanks in advnace. |

Re: 98 Cirrus Overheating
How many miles? Have you ever flushed the radiator? You might have 50% or more blockage.

Re: 98 Cirrus Overheating
If you're not having to replace significant quantities of coolant you don't have a leak.
Have a good radiator shop inspect the radiator. Your symptoms sound like you're getting only a fraction of the cooling potential. A partially-clogged radiator would return coolant to the expansion tank, but would not have enough capacity to deal with everyday cooling needs. |
