2000 2.2l Supercharged??

Well I would like to start this off and say I'm new to the forum, But not to cars. I am currently working/restoring My G/f car, A 2000 2.2l (non ecotec) 4dr cavalier. Yes I added Restore in that sentence, As she did not take good care of this car at all. This thing is torn inside and out lol. I am well on my way of putting her back together though. Today I just installed a new dash and interior trim.

Any ways back to topic, Well at the bone yard scaveging for interior pieces I found this supercharger just laying around, So I took this as well as thie interior pieces. Never go wrong with a free supercharger. The model is a M90 and I also have a M62 both of them are Eaton roots types. I see that some people have put these cavailers before.

My Question is will this work on a 2000 2.2l non ecotec engine?

If this seems like a repost or a noob question please don't flame lol

Re: 2000 2.2l Supercharged??

im sure it wont bolt right up but with the right amount of money and motivation, ANYTHING is possible, i dont think ive ever seen a cavalier with a roots style blower.... just be sure to keep it under 6-7 psi with that engine (unless rebuilding it is part of your project)
