Battery Dead in Jaguar

My battery is dead in the Jaguar. I can't get into the car. All the keys will not work. The key goes in but will not go all the way in and does not turn. The battery is in the trunk but I can't get into that because the keys will not work. HELP!

Re: Battery Dead in Jaguar

I had the same problem with my 1995 Lincoln Towncar.
We were able to crawl under the frnt end and jimmy the hood open to charge the battery and than was able to unlock doors.
In your case:
1) Crawl under car and find a dead 12Volt Terminal.
2) Connect battery charger to it.
Note: By doing this your back-feeding 12volts and charging your battery in
the trunk. ''Good Luck''
3) JACK-UP FRNT Passenger side.
4) Crawl under with charger and Connect Red Hot to hot spot on Starter, and
Black on any ground.
5) USE REMOTE to unlock door.

The easy way is using the key for boot (trk) lock, it's under the U on the Jaguar name, just above the lic plate .
