Talking 2001 Intrepid Valve Tick, Rapid Ind. and Defrost Sqeal

Multiple problems from my wife's '01 Intrepid. Any help is greatly appreciated and will get me out of the doghouse : )

1) What is best described as a valve tick. It does not diminish with time or warmth of the engine. Valve job time?

2) Sounds like a belt squeal when climate control is set to A/C or Defrost.

3) From time to time the indicator (on the dash) flashes rapidly. This is an intermitant problem. For the past few days the indicator was normal and today it went back to flashing rapidly. When this happens the exterior indicator does not actually flash. When the interior indicator is normal the exterior works as it should.

Check the idler puller for the belt they make noise when they go bad. A bad belt will make noise.
