If you're thinking about a RWP stage 3 turbo w/150+hp and 12 psi think again

I just recently talked to the folks at visionimports about the RWP stage 3 turbo. If you thought this was a good way to boost your lancer past those supercharged civics and american v8's think again. The stage 3 kit is strictly for the track. The car idels terrible and with everyday driving you'll blow your engine with-in a week. Vision suggests the stage two. Even though they don't carry an intercooled kit you can purchase the intercooler from them and it will come with all necessary piping for the intercooler. The stage 2 also comes with everything needed to put the kit on and hit the road. Upgraded injectors are incleded along with other upgrade, but via vision an upgrade of the stock fule pump is not necessary. They claim the stage two will give you all the power you need for the streets, and there have been reports of some mustangs, camaros, and firebirds falling prey to some of these (turbo charged rice burners) as the american car fanatics might say.

If anyone does plan to get the stage 3 to have a track lancer let me know how it turns out. :bonghitte :greenchai :aug2:

You would really need forged internals to run that much boost. I'm going through the planning stages of a damn near ideal turbo setup. Once it's being worked on and once it's finished I'll keep you all posted. Finances and my engine's internals are my only concerns right now.
