I'm rebuilding my top end on a 95 blazer and was wondering how to tell if a hyd lifter is collapsed or not. Thanks

Re: Lifter Question
Was they working ok before you took it apart?
See if it will pump up and hold pressure. And check cam lobes and bottom of lifters for wear.

Re: Lifter Question
The rollers are on the bottom of lifter right?
Check rollers on bottom of lifters and cam lobes. If a lobe is worn off you will have a miss and sometimes the lifter will not pump up good.
