W140 S class
W140 S class coupe R129 SL I will be buying 2 of each thanks! Took me such a long time to find 2 S600 kits and 1 SL500 kit.. cant wait for it to come out

These kits are fantastic, I just finished a S600 AMG Coupe a few months ago. Looks like i'll have to buy some more. I also want to try putting the V12 engine in the 500SL.

Yes, They need to do some current kits. Although I am glad to hear that AMG version kits are being re-released. I have 1 AMG SL500, 2 AMG S600 coupe kits and need 1 or 2 AMG S600 sedans to go with them. But to be serious, Tamiya need not to re-release too many old kits but to use the plastic for new moldings of new kits. New AMG Mercedes kits would be nice.

Does anybody know if some of those kits are not actually made by Tamiya? I saw one that looked like it may have been a Revell of Germany kit in a Tamiya box. Tamiya's name was not on any of the sprues like it usually is and the tires were on sprues and were not the same material they use.

I have the kit. It is by CCLee. I used 2 kits to build my 600sel limo because I didn't want to take a chance on my Tamiya kits. I'll post picture of actual kit later in WIP.
