95 Blazer S10 Turns over - won't start - No headlights
1st
no headlights, turns over, no start about ready to give - wind up windows - 1 more try - starts and headlights on 2nd couple of days later - driving home - engine stops - start to pull over but restarts while driving 3rd next morning - no headlights, turns over, no start 4th read these forums - got the ignition key start switch -replaced it (not the pink wire issue unless bad replacement) still no go left the headlight switch on - no headlights 5th following weekend - lot's of rain going outside - saw headlights on hoped in car - it started - moved car to side of house 6th Following weekend - tried headlights - no lights no start Must be some electical connection to do with headlights and, ignition or fuel, - any ideas please |

The '95 has a couple fuseable links on the battery cable coming off the positive battery post. The next time you don't have headlights check those links to see if 12V is present on the outboard side of the fuseable links.
The headlights also have a circuit breaker, but it should only runs the headlights. The fuseable links probably also feed the VCM (computer). Let us know what you find. |
