95 Blazer S10 Turns over - won't start - No headlights

1st
no headlights, turns over, no start
about ready to give - wind up windows - 1 more try - starts and headlights on

2nd
couple of days later - driving home - engine stops - start to pull over but restarts while driving

3rd
next morning - no headlights, turns over, no start

4th
read these forums - got the ignition key start switch -replaced it
(not the pink wire issue unless bad replacement)
still no go
left the headlight switch on - no headlights

5th
following weekend - lot's of rain
going outside - saw headlights on
hoped in car - it started - moved car to side of house

6th
Following weekend - tried headlights - no lights no start

Must be some electical connection to do with headlights and, ignition or fuel, - any ideas please

Re: 95 Blazer S10 Turns over - won't start - No headlights

The '95 has a couple fuseable links on the battery cable coming off the positive battery post. The next time you don't have headlights check those links to see if 12V is present on the outboard side of the fuseable links.

The headlights also have a circuit breaker, but it should only runs the headlights. The fuseable links probably also feed the VCM (computer).

Let us know what you find.
