1998 Z71
My Air Bag light is on in my dash when the switch is in the passenger air bag "OFF" position. When I turn the switch to the "ON" position the light goes out. Could the switch in the dash be bad?

Has it always worked like that?
GO down to the used car lot and check another one like yours and see how it works. I would say that is the way it is supposed to work. But you can always have it checked for codes and operation on a SIR capable scanner. MT
