88 lesabre 3.8 liter

i have a problem. my car died on the highway yesterday doing 50 and the engine light came on.so i bought a obd1 scanner and it gave me code
27 2 Gear Switch
28 3 Gear Switch
41 Cam Sensor Circuit
the car is a 88 lesabre 3.8 liter any advice

More than likely, you have a bad crank position sensor. The cam sensor will not cause a stall. The other two codes, could have been codes set when the engine cut off. BTW, you do not need an OBD1 scanner on this car. All you have to do is jump terminals A&B on the ALDL terminal to get the codes. Do a search for more precise instructions.

hello i would be looking at the cam sensor & or wiring.trans codes could have been set do to code 41
