95 Silverado Shifting? HELP

I just changed my tranny fluid and filter and after i filled it back up and started it now my rpm gauge, mph gauge, and milage ,and shift indicator does not work. Also my tranny is stuck in 3rd gear. It does not have overdrive or 1st gear. The only thing it has is 3rd and 2ed. and to go to 2ed you have to shift it in to 2ed to get it. I checked all the wires and conectors and i can't find any thing unpluged. I even droped the pan again to check and could not see any thing unpluged. Any ideas? It has a 350 and has the 4L60E tranny.

Re: 95 Silverado Shifting? HELP

It may be just a fluke thing. I can't see what you may have done by changing the tranny fluid, but??

So, did you remove any connectors while doing the tranny fluid change??

If you did not/or did and you're sure the connections are back on good, then I would suspect a problem (fluke) with the ign switch or wiring to the fuses from the ign switch that power the tranny and the gauges.

PS: I had to pick from your two of the same posts and just picked this one??

Re: 95 Silverado Shifting? HELP

Yeah, I was wondering why there were two back-to-back posts as well.

Anyways, there are two solenoids at the back of the valve body, abutted against the pan, that will easily become disconnected by the pan without you even knowing. Pull the pan off, and check to make sure these two solenoids are connected.
