Unintentional braking
Wondering if anyone has had this trouble with their 2000 Cavalier 4 speed auto with enhanced traction control. When driving along in drive it feels like the brakes come on & it wants to slow down. From a stand still it won't move in 1st gear or 2nd gear. The problem has cleared up now but if it were to start doing it again when the road get slippery it could be dangerous.
Hope someone here has some ideas on what the cause could be. thanks Last edited by Kroe Magna; 11-11-2007 at 01:14 PM. Reason: spelling |

Re: Unintentional braking
Try puuling the fuse - I don't know if there is a dedicated fuse for the traction control but you could pull the ABS fuse. If the problem goes away you know it's in the ABS/Traction control system. Go from there.
