Steering Problem
I have a 2000 Lesabre and after it sets over night when I start it it won't turn to the left. It will turn right fine but it won't turn left until after I turn it to the right a few times and the car warms up. Even then as it turns to the left I can feel a little catch as I turn the wheel to the left. Any suggestions?

Re: Steering Problem
Welcome to AF, possible something binding in the steering or suspension, more likely the P/S rack is bad.

Re: Steering Problem
If something was binding why would it go away after warming up?

Re: Steering Problem
Attempts to turn the wheel can temporarily loosen a ball /socket component, as I said the rack is a more likely culprit. Disconnect the tie rod ends when cold and turn the wheels lt to rt to isolate the condition, some attempt to mechanically diagnose this has to be done.
