Question inspection sticker paper slip

hey,

I sold my old car and I guess it is in worse shape then I thought, but I didn't know, anyway I forgot to include the inspection sticker paper slip you know the one that lists all the systems looked at while they are inspecting the car. She is hollering for me to give it to her(which I will) but the inspection was done 10 months ago, if the car is in as bad shape as she says can I or the guy that inspected it get in trouble? I mean in 10 months alot can happen.

also I forgot to put on a piece of paper somewhere that it was a "as is" sale.

thanks everyone.

You're right , a lot can happen in 10 months, so I wouldn't be as concerned. I see you live in Canada, sO I'm not exactly sure of the laws and processes involved with the sale of a used car in a private sale. You might want to contact the department that handles these types of transactions ( in the US it's referred to as the Department of motor Vehicles)and ask them.I'm also not sure how Canadian law mirrors or is different than US law, but pretty much in a private sale of an automobile there is usually no implied warranties with the car even though it is not written on the bill of sale "As is."
