i'd say coupe most of the time, but it depends on the car. for example i rather have a 3 door ae86 (hachiroku) than a 2 door coupe.

I have a 5-door hatchback, but that's not in the list...

Question Ahem...what about convertibles?

My favorite body style is a 2 door, 2 seat convertible. Except for the Lexus SC430 which is a lumpy, fugly looking creature (nice interior, though). Miata/MX-5, S2000, MR-S, Boxster, Z3/Z4, Modena Spider, Corvette, Viper, Fiat Barchetta, Alfa Romeo Spyder...all cool cars.

After that, it depends on the car. And I have different criteria for models vs. real cars. 2 door coupes tend to look the best, but a lot of modern 3, 4, and 5 doors look good. Especially cars like the Mazda Protege5-I wish the WRX wagon looked half as good as the Mazda wagon...unless Mazda decides to put 200hp under the hood.

In my dreams: SL55AMG which is 2 doors coupe/convertible

In real life: 3 door hatch for practicallity and that's what I drive daily so I voted for that one

Hey...what about 5-door hatchback? Although I really can't think of any other than my old Integra.

But 3-door hatchs are my favorite from the list.

I've owned 2 doors and 4, and 4 is MUCH MUCH better esp. when people are travelling in the back seat - or when you're carrying cargo.

PLUS, does anyone else think that coupes should have to park over in their own section of the lot?? I've been doored too many times by people in coupes with 5 ft. doors. (Like the stupid Buick Riviera old-fogey-mobile. )
